Educational Qualifications
- Technical Officer/C – M.Sc (Bio-Science/ Life Science/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology), M.Sc (Chemistry), M.Sc (Physics), BE/B.Tech (Architecture), BE/B .Tech (Chemical), BE/B.Tech (Civil), BE/B.Tech (Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Computer Science & Engineering), BE/B.Tech (Mechanical/ Drilling), BE/B.Tech ( Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics), BE/B.Tech (Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control), BE/B.Tech (Mechanical), BE/B.Tech (Mining) with 60% marks. M.Lib (Information Science) with 4 years experience/ M.Lib (Information Science) with 55% marks in N.E.T.
- Scientific Assistant/B – Should have B.Sc (Food Technology/ Home Science/ Nutrition) with 60% marks.
- Technician/B – SSLC qualification with Boiler Attendant Certificate.
- Stipendiary Trainee Category 1 – B.Sc (Biochemistry/ Bioscience/ Life Science/ Biology), B.Sc (Chemistry), B.Sc (Physics), B.Sc (Computer Science), B.Sc (Computer Science) with 60% marks. Agriculture), B.Sc (Horticulture), Diploma (Chemical), Diploma (Electrical), Diploma (Mechanical), Diploma (Architecture), Diploma (Civil), Diploma (Automobile).
- Stipendiary Trainee Category 2 – SSLC (Science & Mathematics) with minimum 60% marks along with respective Trade Certificate/ Secondary PUC (Science) qualification.
Age Limit
Candidates should be at least 18 years of age as on the last date of application.
- Technical Officer/C – Maximum 35 years
- Scientific Assistant/B – Maximum 30 years
- Technician/B – Maximum 25 years
- Stipendiary Trainee Category 2 – Maximum 22 years
- Stipendiary Trainee Category 1 – Minimum 19 years, Maximum 24 years
Age Relaxation:
- 03 years relaxation for OBC candidates
- 05 years relaxation for PJ/P.P candidates
- 10 years relaxation for PWD candidates
Selection Method:
- Technical Officer/C, Scientific Assistant/B, Stipendiary Trainee Category 1 – Selection will be conducted through computer based screening test and interview.
- Technician/B, Stipendiary Trainee Category 2 – Selection will be conducted through Preliminary Test, Advanced Test, Skill Test.
Examination Centers:
- Bangalore, Hubli-Dharwad centers in Karnataka.
