Karnataka State Horticulture Department (KSHD) Recruitment 2023 : A new notification has been published regarding the recruitment of vacant posts in the Karnataka State Horticulture Department. • Senior Assistant Director of Horticulture : 256 Posts
  Salary: Rs. 52,650 – Rs. 97,100
  Should have B.Sc in Horticulture along with Post Graduate in Horticulture.
• Assistant Horticulture Director : 475 Posts
  Salary: Rs. 43,100 – Rs. 83,900
  Should have B.Sc Degree and Post Graduate Degree in Horticulture.
• Assistant Horticulture Officer : 1136 Posts
  Salary: Rs. 40,900 – Rs. 78,200
  Must be qualified with B.Sc degree in Horticulture from a recognized institution.
• Horticulture Assistant : 926 Posts
  Salary: Rs. 23,500 – Rs. 47,650
  Must have B.Sc in Horticulture.
• First Class Assistant : 311 Posts
  Salary: Rs. 27,650 – Rs. 52,650
  Any degree from a recognized institution should be an educational qualification.
• Stenographers : 11 posts
  Salary: Rs. 27,650 – Rs. 52,650
  In addition to having passed PUC should have passed Kannada Senior Typing and Senior Shorthand Examination conducted by Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) or Diploma in Secretarial Practice with optional in Kannada Shorthand given by Karnataka Board of Technical Education.

• Second Grade Assistant : 271 Posts
  Salary: Rs. 21,400 – Rs. 42,000
  Secondary PUC should have educational qualification.
• Data Entry Assistant : 58 Posts
  Salary: Rs. 21,400 – Rs. 42,000
  Along with passing PUC should have passed Kannada Senior Typing Examination conducted by Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) or Diploma in Commercial Pactis and Kannada Senior Typing issued by Karnataka Board of Technical Education.

• Vehicle Drivers : 87 Posts
  Salary: Rs. 21,400 – Rs. 42,000
  Must have passed 10th standard and possess light vehicle driving license.
• Lab Assistant : 13 Posts
  Salary: Rs. 18,600 – Rs. 32,600
  Should have passed PUC (Science) with Diploma in Lab Management and three years experience in any NABL recognized laboratory.
• Bee Cultivation Assistant : 20 Posts
  Salary: Rs. 18,600 – Rs. 32,600
  Must have passed SSLC and have certificate of minimum three months training at Bhagamandal Beekeeping Training Center Kodagu District. OR Should have at least three months training certificate in beekeeping conducted by a recognized university or horticulture department in Karnataka.
• Jawana : 98 posts
  Salary: Rs. 17,000 – Rs. 28,950
  Must have passed SSLC/ Class 10th Examination.
• Gardener : 1774 Posts
  Salary: Rs. 17,000 – Rs. 28,950
  Must have passed SSLC and must have 10 months horticulture training certificate from Karnataka Horticulture Department. OR SSLC and Diploma (Horticulture) from a University established by law in India and recognized by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
• Watchman : 29 Posts
  Salary: Rs. 17,000 – Rs. 28,950
  Must have passed SSLC/ Class 10th Examination.

Place of Duty: Candidates selected for the posts should perform duty in Karnataka.

Number of Vacancies:

The notification has been published for the recruitment of more than 4700 posts.
