The students who have completed class 1 to 5 have now come to know the good news. Yes, applications have now been invited for the Entrance Test (Entrance Exam) conducted for admission to the 6th class in KREIS residential schools in the year 2024-25. Information about it is as follows.

In the year 2024-25, applications are now invited from those seeking admission to the 6th standard in the schools operating under the Association of Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions. In order to get admission in these schools, they conduct an eligibility test. By writing this entrance exam, you can get admission in the schools mentioned here.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority will conduct the entrance examination and counseling for admission to class 6 in many schools.

• Kittoor Rani Chennamma Residential School
• Eklavya Model Residential School
• Atal Bihari Vajpayee Residential School
• Smt Indira Gandhi Residential School
• Dr BR Ambedkar Residential School
• Masti Venkatesa Iyengar Residential School
• Sangolli Rayanna Residential School
• Kavir’s Residential School
• 1Gandhittava Residential School
• Residential schools like Sri Narayana Guru

To write this exam one should have the following qualifications.

They are:Vasati schools

• Students studying in class 5 in the current year or their parents can apply on behalf of their children.
• The annual income of the family of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes students should not exceed Rs.2,50,000.
• Annual family income of students belonging to Backward Class Category-1 should not exceed Rs.2,50,000.
• Annual family income of Backward Class 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B students should not exceed Rs.1,00,000.

Important dates have been fixed for writing the entrance exam. Details of those dates are as follows:

• Students parents can apply online from December 7 to 31 i.e. today is the last day.

• Scheduled Date to Apply for this Exam : 07-12-2023 Starting from 11 am.

• Also last date to apply : 31-12-2023 till 11-59 pm.

• Also the date of release of admit card for the entrance test will be: 01-02-2024.

Some instructions are given to the students writing this entrance exam if they are to apply.

• From the school where the student is studying in Class 5:
• SATS no
• A recent photograph
• All original documents related to reservation or xerox copies should be taken and contacted to the Principal of the concerned residential school/college at the time of application.
• While applying online, the students should make the order of the schools in which they want admission.
• Exams will be given priority only in the schools given above.
• Also students are allowed to take the exam only in residential schools given by KREIS in their district to increase their chance of seat allotment.

How to Apply:

Students / Parents are informed to submit the application online through the Residential Schools / Colleges functioning under the Association of Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions.
